توحید کی بقا مولا حسین ہے�
کلمے کا کلیہ مولا حسین ہے

عقلوں پہ کیا تمہاری ہیں پتھر پڑے ہوئے�
کہتے ہیں مسجدوں میں موذن کھڑے ہوئے
لوگوں یزید تھا مولا حسین ہے

ساتوں دوبارہ زندہ کیے ہیں حسین نے�
راہب کو چودہ بیٹے دیئے ہیں حسین نے
کتنا سخی مرا مولا حسین ہے

جبرئیل کے فرشتوں کو اس کی نہیں خبر�
نازل بہ راہِ راست ہوا یہ بتول پر
قرآنِ فاطمہ مولا حسین ہے

اس نے تو وہ کیا جو کسی نے کیا نہیں�
سارے خدا کے کام ہیں لیکن خدا نہیں
عقلوں سے ماورا مولا حسین ہے

آ بھائی آ جا تیرا مقدر سنور گیا�
عباس نے یہ کہہ کے گلے سے لگا لیا
حر منتظر ترا مولا حسین ہے
 
بازار سے گذر گئی زینب یہ سوچ کر�
قرآن پڑھ رہا ہے وہ نیزے کی نوک پر
زندہ ابھی مرا مولا حسین ہے

پانی پہ جس کی پیاس کا ہے آج بھی قیام�
بھر بھر کے دے رہا ہے جو کوثر کے سب کو جام
پیاسا وہ ساقیا مولا حسین ہے

یہ فیصلہ ازل سے ہے عقل و شعور کا�
حق ہے اُسی کو میر تکلم غرور کا
اللہ کی انا مولا حسین ہے
